It was my third time to visit this area and during that visit I was finally inside the compound of Hohenschwangau Castle. This castle  was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria, Germany. It is not so far from  Neuschwanstein  castle. It is located in the German village of Hohenschwangau near the town of Füssen in Bavaria and very near  to the Austrian border.
