It was indeed a lovely day in Oslo. The weather was quite cold with a temperature of 13 degree Celsius. The only good thing was, it was not raining like what I had expected. The sky was  bit cloudy  and sometimes  the sun  was shining.  The cruise trip we did with Aidabella ship brought us to Norway’s lovely capital.  After my friend decided to come with me, I booked the trip immediately without second thoughts.  I cannot travel alone with that trip because  the charge for single room was very expensive. I have to pay 379 Euros extra  if I will book a cabin with window.  I am so thankful that a friend decided to come with me. She was very happy as we experienced a lot  during that cruise trip.

The view of Oslo City from our  Aidabella ship. I am missing this recent travel I had with a friend. We were in Oslo from April 29-30, 2013. Our ship docked at around 10 PM last April 29. We also did some night sightseeing.

The Slottet or the Royal Palace is the home of the Royal Family. It was built in the first half of the 19th century as the Norwegian residence of King Charles III, who also reigned as king of Sweden and otherwise resided there, and is the official residence of the present Norwegian monarch. The crown prince resides at Skaugum in Asker west of Oslo. The palace has 173 rooms.

The Opera house in Oslo, Norway. Not really a good shot because we were riding that time the hop-on hop-off bus.

I have a lot of things to share from our recent travels in Scandinavia. For now, just enjoy watching some of the snapshots I took there.

Have a lovely day to everyone!
