I love collecting postcards. In every place I visit, I always buy some if I can find it in a store or any souvenir shops.  Having been to over 30 countries worldwide, I guess I already have a collection of over a thousand postcards.  I guess it is still not enough to build a postcard museum….just kidding folks!

Regensburg is a city in Bavaria, Germany that is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. The famous Regensburg Cathedral with its  impressing towers.

There is a group in facebook  I entered last month.  The are called postcrossers and the group is named Postcrossing. The members are from the different countries and love to collect and exchange postcards with the other members. I find it quite interesting and would love to do the same. The other day, I exchange message with a guy  from the US who has postcards from Texas.  I told him that I want one of his postcards and would like to exchange  with me.  He wanted to see the postcards but I haven’t took photos of it until today.

Here are the 3 of my postcards which  I wanted to exchange with. I promise these postcards are nice and the  quality of the printing are  very good too.  I just took these photos in a hurry today.  It might not look so good but they are beautiful.

The Steinerne Brücke or the stone bridge with the Regensburg Cathedral on the background. It was  built  from 1135–1146 and  is a highlight of medieval bridge building. The knights of the 2nd and 3rd crusade used it to cross the Danube on their way to the Holy Land.
